Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Treasured Trappings (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Engaiging Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates the Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. About the Service

Treasured Trappings is a wardrobe management and community Market Square app built for the Renaissance festival and fantasy event community. The Service allows users to catalog their garment collections, plan outfits, and participate in buy, sell, and trade (BST) activity with other community members.

Treasured Trappings has no official affiliation with Damsel in This Dress or any garment manufacturer. The Service is an independent community tool. Any product names, style names, or brand references are used for identification purposes only.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately at support@treasuredtrappings.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or at least 13 years old with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By registering, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including garment photos, descriptions, and other data ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Engaiging Labs, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to operate the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit any User Content you post, and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights. You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences of sharing it.

We do not sell your User Content to third parties or use your garment photos for advertising purposes.

5. Buy, Sell, and Trade — Facilitation Only

The BST features of the Service facilitate connections between buyers and sellers. Engaiging Labs, LLC is not a party to any transaction between users. No money is processed through the Service. All payments occur off-platform via PayPal, Venmo, cash, or any method buyers and sellers agree on independently.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the condition of items, the completion of transactions, or any disputes between buyers and sellers. Transaction records in the app are for your own record-keeping convenience only — they do not constitute a contract or guarantee of performance by either party.

Users are encouraged to exercise their own judgment before completing any transaction. We strongly recommend using PayPal Goods & Services or another buyer-protected payment method for all purchases.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Sell counterfeit, unauthorized reproduction, or stolen items
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Spam, solicit, or advertise outside of designated BST features
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Engage in price gouging or manipulative pricing practices
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The Treasured Trappings name, logo, and Service design are owned by Engaiging Labs, LLC. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@treasuredtrappings.app with a description of the claimed infringement, the location of the infringing content, and your contact information. We will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for any transactions, disputes, or interactions between users. We do not verify the accuracy of any listing or the identity of any user.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engaiging Labs, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to losses related to transactions between users, data loss, or unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@treasuredtrappings.app. Upon account closure, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Sections 4 (User Content license), 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), and 10 (Limitation of Liability) survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
